CrowdPicks looked at the aggregate data for tonight's game and wanted to share our findings.
The 10,000 ft view with "all picks" shows an aggregate score of about 6.3 to 5, AL over NL. When we narrow the picks down to only the top 18 2009 MLB "smart" pickers the score tightens a little - 6.3 to 5.3. For both groups, the volume of picks for AL over NL is about 65-70%.
There are several ways to interpret this data and we'll leave it up to you but it's interesting to note that the score is very close, especially considering the historical outcome of these meetings, and that the "smart" group predicts a tighter game than the overall group. Draw your own conlcusions and enjoy the game!
