The Confederations Cup starts tomorrow and the US soccer team has a tough challenge in front of them with games against Italy, Brazil, and Egypt. I see this as a measure of where the team is at and what we can look forward to next year in the World Cup.

The US was the only opponent of Italy that did not lose to them in the 2006 World Cup. Hopefully they can remember that game and how they outplayed the best team in the world.

Just wanted to add, how do we continue to get screwed over with group draw? 4 of the 5 highest rankings are in group B. Only Spain is ranked in the FIFA top 50 rankings in group A.

Italy is going to kill us. I hope for a different outcome, but i don't see it happening.

No chance the way the US has been playing lately. I will be surprised if they score. Italy 3 US 0

That's why they play the games. Stranger things have happened.
