The Lakers look like the team to beat this season. Not only are they 5-0 but Kobe Bryant is only playing 33 minutes a game. You really cant pen down an ex-factor because there really isn't just one. On any given night any of these players can step up. And when you have a bench of Farmer, Ariza, Machine, Odom, Mim or Gasol/Bynum. What are teams going to do. Yeah the Celtics Won last year, but the Lakers destroyed a good Houston team last night that won 21 stright last year with out Ming, and added Ron Artest.

You can argue and say it's early in the season, but people this is the NBA every game counts for home court advantage and you know how big that is in the play offs. All those people that think Kobe is a ball hog check out his stats now. My conclusion is that he doesn't have to shoot now that his team plays as a team. I have watched a few games and they can shoot from any where on the court. I am a Lakers fan so I tend to be quite bias, but I don't even see a real flaw on their bench let alone their starters. I mean they don't even have to rely on their starters to bring them back from behind. I really believe a few of their bench players would be starters on other teams. I guess we will just have to wait and see how far they will go this year.
