I'm not sure if I'm allowed to put a link on CP to another site but I just want to recommend the BBC in England as the best site for following soccer on.
If you are an avid fan of the game you will get all the news you need to help you make educated guesses as to results. If you are a total novice then you should scroll down the left side of the page and click on the various countries and then click on 'TABLES'. The best teams are at the top of the table and the worst are at the bottom....but that is just a general rule and as the seasons are just beginning in Europe the tables will practically turn upside down by the end of the season.
Keep in mind that when you look at soccer fixtures the home team is always first, e.g. Liverpool vs Manchester United, Liverpool is the home team. Home advantage is a big deal in soccer...some say it is worth a goal.
TIP. For years I have been a blogger on the BBC. Join the 606 crew and give your opinions. What's it worth? Nothing in terms of cash but brilliant for dropping an advertisement in occassionally. Watch me mention CP a few times. :)
