I am starting to wonder who makes the desisions in the front offices around the league. I know there aren't very many vikings fans on this site. Let me start out by saying I am a proud Vikings fan. It must seem like XMAS! to my fellow Viking fans. How could the other teams in the league allow us to pick up Jared Allen? I mean both of the Williams guys were in the pro bowl so now we have to 3 pro bowlers up front. Not to mention they let us get berrian on offense. All we needed was a deep threat to get the guys out of the box on defense.

Let me get back to the defense though I will come back to the offense later. Here is all I am saying so bare with me. With three pro bowlers up front and the Vikings defense already being number one stoping the run last year what do you think the addition of a pro bowl pass rusher does for this defense. Asked about joining Min Jared Allen "said it's great to be with the williams". Well simply put he got a 70 million plus contract for 6 years. Let me ask you this now ? What do you think his modivation on the field is going to be to get all that money? Simply put QB killer you have to assume Allens incentives are base on sacks. So his goal every down is to get to the qb, and it's not just Allen teams will have to worry about.

Now on offense since I said I would talk about that too. AD "Adrian Peterson" has the same type of incentives. But it's just not about him this year the Vikes got him help. On one side they have Rice yes a rookie last year but still comes this year with some exp. this year. Now they have Berrian on the other side as I mentioned above. Hmmm if teams want to stop Peterson this year it's not going to work for very long is my point. Also you have to look at how the Vikings were playing towards the end of the season last year. Yeah towards the end of the year they destroyed the team that went on to be super bowl champs. That's a laugh in its self. You can argue that it was only week 12 and say the giants got better in 4 to 5 weeks. I will also mention that Jackson got better as a QB towards the end of the season. Also that a QB can only be as good as the recievers he is throwing to, and with that said he now has a goto guy in Berrian. This isn't meant to be a complete scouting report it's just a summary of some of what to look for.

The Vkes have a lot of talent, but they will only go as far as their QB takes them, so Jackson better improve on those 12 INT's to 3 TD's he had in 2007
