O.K. I am writing this in a cloud of shock, despair and disbelief this morning. In the corner of my heart reserved for the Lakers there is still a glimmer of hope that they can win three in a row. In my mind I know that is not possible.

Now comes the Summer of our discontent. Boston will win the Championship and the world will move on. Yes, the world will move on, not so Kobe. Within a few days of the season ending Kobe will demand to be traded. The following day he will demand that Phil Jackson be traded. The following day Kobe will want the entire Laker team traded and a new team built around him. The day after that he will want the Lakers moved out of Los Angeles as we peasants are not paying enough attention to him.

I can accept Boston lifting the trophy and I will be the first to say the deserved it. What I am not looking forward to is the Summer of Kobe. Maybe the time is right for the Lakers and Kobe to part company.

If it happens that Kobe Bryant makes a move what team would you like to see him on?

Where the biggest money, with the less "fanfare/celebrity" type player isnt already. Maybe over at Houston, with big China in the center. That may work.

Kobe Bryant wants to win right now! So, I'm thinking... San Antonio.
