I have been an athlete my whole life. I have been in almost every sport thinkable and have acceled at it. I was the night manager at the local sports bar. I had a motorcycle accident in January and now I am paralyzed. I spend a lot of time on the computer now trying to take up time whenever I start to feel down. The doctor gave me a 20% chance to walk again, but I have already started taking steps with a walker and hope I just keep getting better. I still don't have all my feeling, but it is slowly coming back. I was coming up on my 2 year anniversary of fighting MMA and was getting ready to go pro and try to get in the UFC or WEC. I have met Rich Franklin, George St. Pierre, Matt Serra, Jens Pulver, Travis Lutter, and Amir Sodallah. For about a year Amir and I fought in the same league before I switched to a different league. I plan to stay affiliated with MMA somehow, probably judging until I can move around well enough to possibly start refereeing. I have a wife of 4 years and 2 awe |
