Below are the Vegas odds makers, Over/Under odds for the upcoming 2008 college football regular season.
Since I follow the Big 12 pretty close, here are a few picks stand out for me.
Kansas O/U: 8 (Take the under)
I’ll give them 6 guaranteed wins which include Colorado at home (never a lock)
And I’ll give them 3 guaranteed losses, @ OU, Texas at home and Mizzou in KC
That means that KU would have to win all 3 against Texas Tech, @ Nebraska, and @ S. Florida to lose this bet and I think they drop at least 2 of these.
Missouri O/U: 9.5 (Take the over)
I give them 8 guaranteed wins which means that they only need to find 2 more wins out of Illinois, @ Nebraska, @Texas and Kansas in KC. I think they beat Nebraska and Illinois, and probably Kansas.
Kansas State O/U 6.5 (Take the under)
I think K-State loses to Texas Tech, Kansas, Mizzou and Oklahoma
I can barely find 4 games that I think K-State can win in 2008, which puts them at 4-4 and needing to win 3 of the following 4 games: @ Louisville, @ Texas A&M, @ Colorado and Nebraska. I think they drop all four of these.
Nebraska O/U: 7 (Take the over)
I see 6 guaranteed wins, 3 pre-conference and Baylor, @ ISU, @ K-State
I see 2 guaranteed losses @ Oklahoma and Mizzou
Nebraska only needs 2 wins from Virginia Tech, @ Texas Tech, Kansas and Colorado. I think Nebraska can win all three home games but lean to at least getting home wins vs. Colorado and Va. Tech.
