The Dodger pitching staff held a pretty strong Phillies lineup in check, completing the sweep. Hiroki Kuroda showed no signs of a shoulder problem that had bothered him earlier in the season and Philadelphia was fortunate to score once against him.
So, although Brad Penny and Corey Wade went on the DL, the Dodger pitching staff looks strong enough to keep them in the tight NL West race. Will it be enough to win the series agains the Brew Crew?
