Braves announcer since 1976 has been fighting several health problems in recent years. This year he was only doing home games until his passing. Skip was the son of 'Hall Of Fame' broardcaster Harry Caray.

"Skip is as much a part of Atlanta Braves baseball as any of us." said third baseman Chipper Jones.
